About Us

Emolligent Teacher is a platform dedicated to enlightening teachers on the importance of emotional intelligence which broadly defined is the ability of an individual to recognize their emotions and those of others with a view to adequately managing their own emotions and their relationships with those around them.

Self awareness and self management makes the individual teacher better able to understand and identify his or her unique skills with a view to leveraging on these to become a better version of themselves.

Teaching can be a highly demanding profession with a wide variety of interactions ranging from those with pupils, parents, inspectors, colleagues right up to the management. Emotional intelligence gives you the appropriate tools to navigate relationships from a active stance rather than being reactive and later regretting decisions made.

The final core objective of this platform is to empower teachers to pass on social and emotional learning to their students both subtly and explicitly in a bid to make them truly ready for life in the real world.
